ABSENT: No members of the Town Board were absent.

CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order at 6:44 PM by Supervisor Entwistle.

ABSTRACTS:
GENERAL:
A motion was made by Councilman Scouten and seconded by Councilwoman Verschneider to pay Abstract #7, Vouchers #357- #418 in the amount of $23,646.54.

HIGHWAY:
A motion was made by Councilwoman Kardash and seconded by Councilwoman Abrial to pay Abstract #7, vouchers #238- # 290 in the amount of $60,740.64.

PLANNING ESCROW:
A motion was made by Councilwoman Verschneider and seconded by Councilwoman Kardash to pay Abstract #7, vouchers #3- # 8 in the amount of $600.00.

NOCCOG:
Lisa Bellinger of NOCCOG went over the announcements.

OLD BUSINESS BOARD
• Website: The new website is up and running. Residents can sign up for updates the Town sends out.
• Horton Road/Kincaid Road: Supervisor Entwistle will be discussing the mileage signs Bill Gardner, Highway Superintendent.
• White Lake Sign: The White Lake sign has been smashed for a couple years. Pete Webster has made a new, reflective sign that has been budgeted to replace. The Highway Department will be putting it up.
• Highway Negotiations: Highway negotiations will begin July 27th. Supervisor Entwistle has received proposals. The Highway Department is asking for a 3-year contract from 1/2023-12/2026, Starting pay at $21/hour (currently $18/hour), the Town to contribute 100% of their healthcare and increase the footwear $300. Roy will be representing the Town again. Negotiations should be done by September 1st.

NEW BUSINESS BOARD:
• Alder Creek Solar Update: Supervisor Entwistle spoke with David Holly. He is currently working on delineation and wildlife. The Town of Forestport will receive host community money for about 20 years. There is $400,000 a year that needs to be split between the Town of Forestport, Town of Boonville, Oneida County and Adirondack School. The Town of Forestport will receive approximately $50,000 a year in addition to money for deconstruction, money to put into road repair and they have already given $8,000 in grant money in $1,500 chunks. They funded the Forestport Athletic Association during COVID for baseball uniforms and insurance.
• Camp Nazareth: Supervisor Entwistle read a letter aloud from Sal and Isabelle Pisani thanking the Town Board for giving them the opportunity to attend camp this year.
• Comprehensive Plan: The Town has received the contract for the Comprehensive Plan.
A motion was made by Councilman Scouten and seconded by Councilwoman Verschneider to approve the Comprehensive Plan.

• Climate Smart Communities Grant:

A motion was made by Councilwoman Kardash and seconded by Councilman Scouten to pass the Climate Smart Communities Grant Resolution.

NEW BUSINESS PUBLIC:
• Jeannie VanValkenburg stated the Lakeview Road and Norton Road sign are hanging sideways. The restroom sign near the porta potty is knocked down. She tried putting it back up, but it didn’t last. Councilwoman Verschneider stated it was brought to her attention the parked signs are down at the boat launch and boats can’t get through.

A motion was made by Councilwoman Kardash and seconded by Councilwoman Verschneider to adjourn the meeting.
