Senior Lunch Program

The Town of Forestport is currently looking to gauge interest in a free lunch program for residents of Forestport 65+. The program would initially be one day a week, with a deli sandwich, drink., and a couple of healthy sides served at the Town Hall, with the possibility of home delivery for those unable to physically attend.
This program is aimed specifically at seniors with the goal of not only providing a nutritious lunch for those on a fixed income, but also the opportunity to socialize outside the home. If there is solid interest in this program, there is the possibility of expanding it to multiple days and obtaining outside funding for its expansion.
If you or someone you know fits into these categories, and is interested, please contact me at supervisor@townofforestport.gov, or you may also contact Tracy Terry at 315-272-2890
