PLANNING BOARD MEETING MINUTES
April 9, 2025

MEMBERS:

• Meeting called to order at 6:30 pm
• March 12, 2025 Minutes approved (Terry/DeTraglia)

New Business:
• Guarno/Braund: Boundary Line Amendment, Tax ID 51.000-2-46 Mohawk Dr./Gravel Pit Rd, Snowbird Lake (A. Bailey)
Approved (Daktor/Terry)

• G. Dombrowski: 4-Lot Subdivision, Tax ID 26.000-1-11.1, Pit 4 Rd
(J. Moore) Plans reviewed with no issues, and Public hearing scheduled for May 14, 6:30 pm (Daktor/DeTraglia)

• A. Moore (Kamp Consulting): Upcoming scheduled PBA issue: Tax ID 8.000-1-9.3, 111 Newell Rd. A representative for the Project dropped off drawings for septic and garage placement to be reviewed by the PBA. Motion to refer it to PBA: Daktor/DeTraglia

Discussion:
• Fire Protection (continued from March meeting)
Members were not in favor of restricting new construction, but felt that current APA requirements could be merged with Town’s Site Review Law, and oversight added to Codes.
o The Board will send a recommendation to the Town Board that funding be made available to WVFD for the purchase of an appropriate-sized ladder and the cost of retro-fitting an engine to accommodate it (Waldo/DeTraglia)
• As recommended at the recent Conference, A. Daktor and C. Thomas suggested the advisability of alternates to serve on the PBA
• L. Fessler (PBA) requested that both the Planning Board and Codes forward recommendations with projects they send to the PBA
