PLANNING BOARD MINUTES

September 14, 2022

MONTHLY MEETING: 

  • Approved August 10, 2022 Minutes    Terry/Daktor

New Business

  • Subdivision:  (A. Bailey)  Treminio/Martinez  (formerly Pierce)

8038 River Street, Parcel #50.000-1-22.1

   The Board reviewed the submitted subdivision materials, and scheduled a Public Hearing for 10/12/22 at 6:30 pm    (Daktor/Ultsch)

  • New Business Permit:  Threeper Arms Supply/ Robert Whaley

11368 O’Brien Rd, Parcel #86.000-3-1

The business permit was granted.  Board requested copies of all appropriate permits, to be kept in the files for future reference.  (Terry/Daktor)

  • New Business Permit:  Pine Tree Kids (DayCare)/ Shannon Whaley

  • Set back Variance Request:  Mark Fuller

Board reviewed the information/drawings submitted and discussed possible placement alternatives, which were determined to be unfeasible.  His request was categorically denied by Planning, and sent to the Town Board with the recommendation that it be placed on their Agenda and granted.

  • Variance Request:  David Corrigan

4054 Kayuta Terrace, Parcel #86.001-1-18

The Board reviewed the information submitted, and the request was categorically denied.  It will be sent to the Town Board for review.  It was noted that Mr. Corrigan should provide the following additional information: 

  • A scaled drawing with definite measurements
  • Showing placement of well, septic, and other buildings
  • A detailed description of his intended project

General Discussion

            The time-consuming and redundant process of dealing with Variance Requests was discussed.  Chairman Rejman will discuss the issue with Supervisor Entwistle with a view to streamlining the process.
