PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:
The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.
CALL TO ORDER:
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Entwistle at 6:30 P.M.
ABSTRACTS:
GENERAL:
A motion was made by Councilwoman Verschneider and seconded by Councilman Addison to pay Abstract #6, Vouchers #340-#425 in the amount of $154,718.22.

HIGHWAY:
A motion was made by Councilman Scouten and seconded by Councilwoman Verschneider to pay Abstract #6, Vouchers #133- #153 in the amount of $18,488.70.

WATER DISTRICT #1:
A motion was made by Councilman Addison and seconded by Councilman Scouten to pay Abstract#6, Vouchers #63- #74 in the amount of $1,810.53.

SEWER DISTRICT #1:
A motion was made by Councilwoman Verschneider and seconded by Councilman Addison to pay Abstract#6, Vouchers #34-#39 in the amount of $2,428.13.

A motion was made by Councilwoman Verschneider and seconded by Councilman Scouten to pay Abstract#6, Vouchers #21 in the amount of $254.04

A motion was made by Councilman Scouten and seconded by Councilman Addison to pay Abstract#6, Vouchers #1 in the amount of $16.05.

WATER:
• WWIP Update: The Preconstruction meeting is coming up soon.
• WWIP Resolution:

 

A motion was made by Councilman Scouten and seconded by Councilwoman Verschneider to accept Resolution # 3 of 2026.

OLD BUSINESS BOARD:
• Fuel Tank removal: Docuteur removed the fuel tank in one day.
• Pickleball updates: There is one pickleball net outside. The pickleball players are responsible for purchasing the net. The waivers are on the gym door.
• Round Lake Road Bridge: The pre-construction meeting is coming up.
• Highway Truck: Supervisor Entwistle talked with Bill Gardner, Highway Superintendent and Stadium says the town will have the truck by the end of the year.
• Old Forestport Days 5k: The Kids Fun Run starts at 6pm and the 5K starts at 6:30PM.
• Zero Turn Mower Quotes:

 

A motion was made by Councilwoman Verschneider and seconded by Councilman Scouten to accept the quote from Clinton Tractor.

NEW BOARD BUSINESS:
• AI Farms/ Data Centers: Supervisor Entwistle stated he spoke with Attorney Jessica Young, she suggested having a Public Informational meeting to get the public’s feelings on banning AI farms and data centers. Councilman Addison suggested having an addendum made to the Comprehensive Master Plan.
A motion was made by Councilman Addison and seconded by Councilwoman Verschneider to schedule a Public Informational Meeting for July 15th at 6:15 P.M.

• Bank Account for dog licensing donations: NYS is mandating a separate account be made specifically for donations to a local shelter.
A motion was made by Councilman Scouten and seconded by Councilwoman Verschneider to create a separate checking account to benefit Anita’s Steven Swans Humane Society.

• ADK League Club grant: The town submitted a grant for Youth and Senior Recreation in the amount of $25,000.
• Primary: Primary Day is next Tuesday, June 23rd at the Forestport Town Hall and the Woodgate Fire Hall from 6am-9pm.
• Water and Sewer: Water and sewer payments are now able to be paid online, including setting up for automatic payments. Letters with instructions were sent out today.

NEW BUSINESS PUBLIC:
• Kim Lambert asked about the radar signs. Supervisor Entwistle stated he is going to look into it.
ADJOURNMENT:
A motion was made by Councilman Scouten and seconded by Councilwoman Verschneider to adjourn the meeting.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:06 P.M. by Supervisor Entwistle.
