Old Business

New Business
• Eleanor Connick – Tax Parcel 2.003-1-39, 4105 Lakeview Rd (Otter Lake) Variance request for placement of new septic system.
The Board reviewed the plans and spoke with the contractor about the system. The system will be set 5 ft. from one boundary and 7 ft. from the other on a small parcel, but by virtue of its design should not affect either neighbors or lake. On motion from A. Damiano-DeTraglia/D. Ultsch the request was categorically denied and sent to the Board of Appeals for review.

• John Stowell and James LaFountain: Tax IDs: 4.002-1-5 and 4.002-1-6
4283 Lakeview Rd. (Otter Lake): Boundary Line Adjustment
Property owners wish to adjust boundary lines to include a standing structure on the correct property. There was concern because the intended boundary would take the necessary road frontage from the LaFountain property. Mr. LaFountain agreed to combine his three tax parcels, giving him sufficient frontage. Therefore, the Board conditionally approved the adjustment, pending the merge of the properties (4.002-1-6, 1-7, 1-8)

• Daniel Cowen: Tax ID 2.003-2-64, 1041 Norton Road: Septic Installation
Owner was issued a Septic Permit, but has changed contractors and now wishes to relocate formerly submitted site of installation to the same area as

the current system – which is closer to the road. After reviewing the old plans, the Board had the following concerns and suggestions:
 Owner must renew expired Septic Permit
 Plans should be re-drawn and re-submitted indicating updates
 Consideration given to distance from neighboring wells
 Setback distance from the road (which is private, and not plowed in the proposed area of the septic)
On motion by Terry/Ultsch the request was categorically denied and sent to the Board of Appeals for review.

There being no further business brought before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 7:20 pm (Daktor/Terry)

Next meeting scheduled for November 8, 2023
